CO2 Reduction ( 6 )

These videos show how a typical eCO2R experiment is conducted at DTU Physics. Here, we are using an electrochemical cell designed at DTU. The cell is a Membrane Electrode Assembly (MEA) type cell, and the catalyst used is Cu sputtered on carbon-based GDEs. Initially, we present the different cell components and the proper assembly method, emphasizing some crucial steps like electrode preparation, membrane treatment, etc. We also provide insights into our reaction system, the different required steps to conduct a simple electrochemical experiment in eCO2R, and the method to quantify our gas products.
